Thousands flock to new flood safety website

Posted on July 21st, 2008

Thousands of Internet users have already used AreWeAtRisk.org to ensure the safety of their families.

AreWeAtRisk.org is a new public service by Levees.Org launched less than a week ago.  Developed by Stanford Rosenthal, the new website provides Americans with easy access to previously hard-to-find information about vulnerable levees in the United States.

The new site has been extremely successful in educating the public about flood safety.  Levees.Org this weekend experienced its biggest jump in membership since February 2008.

To find out if you are at risk of levee failure, simply go to AreWeAtRisk.org and enter your zip code.
